Art That Moves You
Welcome to the inner world of a social worker told through dance choreography and visual art.
Rooted in a passion for expressing ideas in bold, vibrant, and whole-hearted ways that extend beyond words.
Meaghan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate of Social Work. Before staying at home with her daughters full time, she worked as a child and adolescent therapist in schools, medical and psychiatric hospitals, and juvenile detention centers and, most recently, taught Master’s Level Social Work and ran a solo private therapy practice.
Although Meaghan began dancing, drawing, and painting from a young age, she largely left her creative side behind in pursuit of her academic goals. However, after the birth of her first daughter, she felt a pull to return to art. Meaghan began taking art classes, dance classes, choreographing, and, later, performing/selling her works locally.
Meaghan’s choreography is often described as dark and moody while her paintings are often loud and vibrant. Each artistic medium exploring a different part of her inner world. While she is professionally trained to explore thoughts and emotions through words, sometimes the best way to convey meaning is through art.
